Giving Back

Here at Lensflair Editions, we believe in not only creating beautiful scarves to enhance women, but in giving back as well.  We have chosen the following charities to share our good fortune with.

The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission is to eradicate breast cancer by investing in early career practitioners and innovative research. 20% of the profits from the sale of our Rose Bouquet scarf, which was created specifically for the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation, and our Berlin Blaze Pink scarf will go directly to the Lynn Sage Foundation’s Purchase 4 Pink initiative.

FreshLens Chicago seeks to develop individual growth, team building, good work habits, and responsibility in Chicago students from under-resourced areas through the vehicle of photography.

Empowering Women NFP, whose mission is “To break the cycle of Domestic Violence against women by providing necessary services in and around Chicago, while being trauma-informed and culturally respectful, reflecting the specific needs of underserved communities of color.” Further, Empowering Women NFP is founded on the vision that every person has the right to be safe, empowered, free from violence and the fear of violence. To that end, one of the ways EW helps women stand proud and safe is through certified skills training - specifically their sewing program. All of our reversible scarves are sewn by graduates of that training. The women in the classroom are from diverse backgrounds: African American, South Asian, Hispanic and immigrant refugees, helping women gain financial independence through Skills Development.
